The advantage over a conventional GSM telephone is that the user is able to make calls from places where the terrestrial GSM coverage is poor or non-existent.

The Tactical Monitoring System is able to supply off-air monitoring equipment for the Thuraya network, enabling operators to identify users of the system and their GPS locations.

We also supply monitoring systems for Iridium, Inmarsat.
